Job DescriptionThe Michigan Civil Service Commission is looking for a motivated individual who is organized, has exemplary analytical and problem-solving skills, and is interested in working in a fast-paced HR environment. This position will serve as a Human Resources Analyst or Specialist performing the full range of labor relations activities serving the Department of State Police (MSP.) Ideal candidates will have:

A strong understanding of the labor relations field including principles of Just Cause and Due Process.

Ability to review investigations, analyze, interpret, and apply policies, rules, regulations, and collective bargaining agreements.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience in presenting cases in front of a third party such as an arbitrator.
