SharePoint Engineer-Senior
Michigan, Lansing, 48901 Lansing USAOverviewGovCIO is currently hiring for a Senior SharePoint Engineer to manage and support the customer's SharePoint site. This position will be located in Washington D.C., and will be a fully remote role.Responsibilities
Provide very strong Administration skills for M365 SharePoint Online environments, ensuring high availability, performance, security, customer solutions to complex tasks.
Implement and support SharePoint solutions, including site collections, libraries, and workflows.
Collaborate with IT and business teams to design and deploy custom SharePoint solutions that meet organizational needs.
Monitor and troubleshoot SharePoint performance issues, outages, and provide timely solutions to these issues while maintaining customer awareness.
Provide Tier 3 support, resolving complex technical issues and working closely with customers to ensure satisfactory outcomes for all issues raised.
Plan for new technologies and updates within the M365 environment focused on SharePoint.
Utilize of ShareGate for efficient migration from classic sites to modern and storage reporting metrics. Provide ongoing support to end-users, helping them effectively utilize SharePoint tools and features.
QualificationsBachelor's with 5 - 8 years (or commensurate experience)Required Skills and Experience
5+ years of experience as a SharePoint Administrator.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and Power Automate, and Purview.
Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, best practices, and future Microsoft upgrade paths.
Hands-on experience with ShareGate for SharePoint migration and management.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail with solid communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong customer service skills with experience in providing Tier 3 support.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Clearance Required: Able to obtain/maintain a Public Trust Clearance
Preferred Skills:
Experience with ServiceNow a strong plus.
