Michigan, Kalamazoo, 49001 Kalamazoo USADescription We are offering an exciting opportunity in KALAMAZOO, Michigan, for a diligent Controller to join our team. As a Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing accounting functions, handling accounts payable and receivable, and managing auditing processes. You will also be involved in the use of accounting software systems and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning. Responsibilities: Oversee all accounting functions within the company Regularly handle accounts payable and receivable Manage auditing processes to ensure accuracy and compliance Utilize accounting software systems for efficient financial management Employ ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning in managing company resources Ensure the accuracy of customer credit records Take appropriate action on customer accounts when necessary Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner Conduct billing functions as required Work with MS Great Plains Dynamics for financial data management. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as a Controller Proficient in Accounting Software Systems Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems Comprehensive knowledge of accounting functions Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Proven experience in auditing Ability to handle billing functions efficiently Proficiency in MS Great Plains Dynamics Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Must have a proactive approach and a positive attitude Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge of federal, state, and local financial legal requirements. Strong leadership skills and experience in managing a team.
