ADAS Test Driver/Operator

 Job descriptionCarry out various driving services on vehicles in line with customer specifications.Drive and operate vehicles across pre-defined routes through various terrain and weather conditions.Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company driving policiesMonitor and evaluate ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) function performance during real-world driving conditionsProvide and document user-level feedback on ADAS feature usability, effectiveness, and driver experienceMaintain appropriate level of vigilance when ADAS features are active (avoid over-reliance)Understand and stay updated on operational constraints.Communicate clearly with other Driver or Operator while vehicle is in operation.Monitor and manage onboard data collection systems during vehicle operationVerify proper functioning of sensors, cameras, and recording equipmentDocument test runs, conditions, and any incidents or observations in real-timeUpload, organize, and categorize collected data according to established protocolsPerform quality checks on collected data to ensure completeness and accuracyFlag data anomalies or system issues for technical reviewPerform preparatory activities before shift, including but not limited to inspection of the vehicle before and after shift completion.Manage data acquisition systems to ensure accurate data retrieval.Understand limitations of ADAS functions and intervene when necessaryFollow instructions provided by project manager.Perform reporting activities daily and when required by the program manager.Maintain all documentation with utmost confidentiality.Support the acquisition of data and implement proper tagging techniques to document objects, obstacles, and anomalies found during data acquisition.Knowledge/skills requirementsPractical understanding of how to activate, deactivate, and operate common ADAS featuresKnowledge of typical ADAS user interfaces, controls, and warning indicatorsComputers and data management softwareKnowledge of typical ADAS user interfaces, controls, and warning indicatorsDuration – This project is expected to last 4-5 months with consecutive projects thereafter.Work location will be in Ann Arbor, MI(Note: These tasks are not intended to be all-inclusive. You may perform other related duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of the company)
