Production Workers

We are seekng Production Workers with quality assurance experience in a fast paced environment. This is a direct hire placement for our manufacturing company in Troy, MI. In the role, you will be preparing, cutting and bundling metal tubing per customer specifications so attention to detail, accuracy and quality is a must.

Must be flexible to work between 2 shops- 1 in Warren (10 & Hoover) and 1 in Troy (John R & Big Beaver area)

Pay Rate: $20-$30/hr. based on experience/skillset

Shift: 6:30 am-4 pm Monday-Thursday with occasional OT on Friday if needed

Job Duties:

· Operate and maintain machinery such as cold saws, power tools, and other equipment used in metal cutting and fabrication processes.

· Utilize measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, and tape measures, to ensure accuracy and precision in cutting and shaping metal components.

· Follow production schedules and work orders to meet quality and quantity requirements within specified timelines.

· Inspect raw materials and finished products for quality defects, identifying and addressing any issues to maintain product integrity.

· Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to promote a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.

· Collaborate with team members and supervisors to troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions as needed.

· General shop duties to help where needed

Requirements:

· 2-3 years+ of manufacturing & production experience preferred

· Ability to use precision measuring instruments accurately (calipers, tape measures, micrometers etc.)

· Basic Math & measurements/tolerance knowledge

· Machine Maintenance experience is a plus

· Ability to lift 50 lbs. frequently and 100lbs on an as needed basis and stand/walk throughout the entirety of the shift

· Metal Fabrication, Metal Cutting, or Metal forming experience is a plus but not required
