SummaryWe are looking for a Camunda Workflow Engine Expert who can design, implement, and version enterprise-level business process management (BPM) systems using Camunda.The Sr Software Engineer serves as a full stack engineer focused on our suite of SaaS healthcare applications and services. As part of a collaborative, motivated Agile-based team, the Sr Software Engineer is responsible for all facets of development, at both the database level and the application code level, applying and maintaining quality standards and developing and executing test plans and procedures. This role requires the ability and willingness to mentor and develop more junior software engineers and act as a trusted subject-matter expert.Responsibilities

Design, develop, and version workflows using the Camunda engine.

Deploy and migrate developed workflows across different environments.

Modify and optimize existing Camunda processes.

Integrate Camunda with other systems and components.

Lead and execute on the research and development of secure, scalable, and highly available production-grade software through vision, definition, development, deployment, and sustainment with varying levels of abstraction.

Partner with Product Management to ensure design, engineering and implementation is in accordance with design intention and meets business needs.

Author technical design documentation in adherence to business and solution architecture requirements.

Work with technology leadership to identify and implement new technologies and techniques that can improve our overall platform performance and ultimate customer experience.

Develop, cascade and ensure engineering best practices using modern SDLC that enables CI/CD and favors automation, auditability, automated testing, infrastructure and policy as code.

Provide technical support in relational and NoSQL database as well as application business logic code, including developing APIs encapsulating data management, data modeling and schema development.

Tune queries for optimal performance, refactor business logic for optimal performance, and implement concurrency control to support multi-user functionality.

Mentor junior engineers and serve as a subject matter expert (SME.)

Deliver simple and intuitive products.

Develop and maintain relationships with diverse teams spanning all organizational levels to effectively articulate technology solution and gain trust and buy-in.

Ability to collaborate effectively with other architects and engineers delivering end to end, high-performing, highly reliable, scalable, and operable solutions.

Required Qualifications

8+ years of experience in BPM technology.

Solid experience with Camunda BPM along with version control is a Must.

Strong knowledge of Camunda's ecosystem, including its specific tech Zeebe.

Ability to provide expert guidance on Camunda's BPM technology.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field; or equivalent experience.

6+ years of experience delivering web-based applications and services.

Understanding of object-oriented principles in languages such as C# and/or Java.

Expertise in high-level programming languages.

Experience with relational and non-relational database technologies.

Understanding of modern software development methodologies including version control, unit testing, and continuous integration & deployment

Agile development experience.

Strong communication skills, with proven ability to present complex ideas and to document concisely.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React

Message or data streaming-based application development using technologies such JMS, Azure Messaging Services, Apache Kafka, or Amazon MQ.

Web services standards and related technology knowledge (XML, XSD, SOAP, JSON, Rest)

Knowledge and experience with automated test tools and techniques including test-driven development, and automated acceptance testing.

Experience with Cloud providers and services such as Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure.

Debugging skills and ability to adapt to any new technologies with ease.

Understanding of cloud architecture.

For this US-based position, the base pay range is $63,140.06 - $143,517.00 per year .
