Responsibilities

Provide the delivery of culturally sensitive, age-specific team-based care models in delivering nursing care for Primary Care patients including, adult medicine, pediatric, and OB/GYN patient populations at Briarwood Medical Group, Canton Health Center, Taubman General Medicine, and Saline Health Center ACU's

Perform phone triage, including assessment, screening, clinical advice, nurse visits (in person/ video visit) in-clinic hands on procedures, and other duties assigned.

Accurate and efficient documentation of nursing care.

Knowledge and appropriate use of internal and external resources.

Provide functional supervision to assistive personnel; collaborate with colleagues, other disciplines, and health care/community services to promote continuity of care.

Ability to manage complex clinical issues utilizing assessment skills, protocols, and evidence-based interventions.

Willingness to adapt to different populations ie: pediatrics, OB/GYN, adult medicine as patient demands. Orientation and training would be provided for new subspecialties within primary care based on expansion of division.

Valid Michigan RN license

Three (3) yrs. (out of the last 7 years) of RN experience in Adult Internal Medicine (to include Adult Inpatient, or Emergency Services, or Ambulatory Care Medicine Adult).

And one of the following: One (1) year of OB/Gyn RN experience in Ambulatory Care, Labor and Delivery -OR- One (1) year of Pediatric RN experience.
