Maintenance Technician

You’ll make sure our facilities are operating efficiently, conduct routine maintenance, work on special projects, respond to work orders and assist with unit turns. MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE

On-call requirements for all maintenance staff, in a rotating schedule- must live within 30 min from the Northampton Area.

Assist in Unit-ready turns- from light cleaning to full updates

Snow removal

Special projects

General Maintenance

On-call rotation required

Inspect buildings and units for damage and report

Assist with preventative maintenance of equipment and structures

Perform routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as boilers, plumbing, and electrical wiring to ensure optimal performance

Establish and implement preventative maintenance protocols to keep equipment operations smooth and eliminate safety risks

Record when any equipment was serviced and repairs were made

Examine building windows, walls, and doors for damage and perform repairs when needed

Needs to have availability to respond on nights and weekends to on-call maintenance requests

Applicants should have knowledge of air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems

2+ years of maintenance experience

Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail
