Caregiver needed asap

My family is looking for a second caregiver who is very kind, caring, understanding, and a dedicated hard worker! Care giving experience is required. Preferably with some CNA or PCA training. Great job for someone who likes to go for walks, explore cape cod a bit, and drive a bit. Our mom is a nice lady, she is an old artist who has a lot of energy and had a very interesting life.

Our mom has frontal temporal dementia so experience with dementia is ideal.

An average day encompasses arriving around 9:30 -10am helping our mom get her day bag ready. Toileting her a few times. Helping with dressing and undressing her. Also maybe eating a second breakfast. Then taking her out in your car for walks on trails. Visiting friends on cape cod. Provincetown trips often. Bathroom stops are full hands on care. You need to be in good shape physically to do the job since its a bit of walking and going out and about. Occasionally eating out where you can get food that is easy to swallow like soups and quiche. She is very pleasant and loves to walk. Willing to train but need someone who can commit to staying on. Will need to keep her out and active either running errands, hanging at your house, going to a yoga class, day road trips, etc. We have a checklist of tasks to accomplish during the day to help you keep track of things.

We need the house for most of the day for our own peace of mind and business work.

Please message me directly. Need someone asap mornings till about 3pm, and maybe some shifts can be 9 to 5 or so. We need about 3 days a week now. Requires a well maintained car and a license and you need to speak English fluently. We need someone local.

$25/hour cash plus money for gas and or car use expense.

Compassion is key. Out of the box thinking with our mom's care is really helpful. Also if you have knowledge of nutrition, health and wellness type issues is a big plus.
