Join our Sales & Marketing team with an unmatched depth of capabilities and help our customers solve some of the world’s toughest challenges.About the Opportunity:We are looking for a highly motivated individual with demonstrated experience selling into the bioproduction market to be a part of our sales team within the Research & Safety Division. This is an outstanding growth opportunity as our Production, Products & Services portfolio scales within the Research & Safety Division. The Sr Production Specialist will have a pivotal role in growing our customer base and share of wallet within the BioPharma production areas of new and existing accounts. You will use your demonstrated sales expertise to build and implement successful strategies that drive growth in high potential accounts.Job Responsibilities:
Achieve sales quotas and company goals
Partners effectively on daily selling activities with Industry Directors, Regional Sales Managers, and Sales Representatives at target accounts.
Proactively identify and close new business opportunities at existing and new accounts.
Coordinate cross-functionally across portfolio management, managed services, customer service, internal and external suppliers, and supply chain to deliver innovative solutions that meet unique customer needs
Develop, foster and sustain strong strategic connections with customer stakeholders and decision makers within procurement, operations, production and scientific functions.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities and historical purchasing behaviors to identify significant opportunities in spend which can be converted into sales targets.
Active and regular in person customer engagement, with a minimum of three days per week in the field
Conduct regular discussions with manager regarding sales territory activity and opportunity pipeline
Job Requirements:
Minimum of 8 years experience in sales or business development
Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Strong understanding of the production products and services industry
Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
Successfully thrives in a fast-paced and driven environment
Bachelor's degree, preferably in the sciences. An MBA is advantageous.
