Job Description: Associate Scientist, NGS 1346980

Location: Waltham, MA (Onsite)Science/ Focus: Cell TherapyTherapeutic Area: Oncology

Job Overview: The team is seeking a motivated Associate Scientist to assist in validation workflow in house, with emphasis on NGS.

Responsibilities:

Development of multiple NGS Libraries
DNA/RNA extraction from cultured cancer cells and tissues
Optimization of NGS workflows, automation, and novel assays

Qualifications:

BS with 5-7+ years of relevant experience, MS with 3-5+ years of relevant experience, PhD with 0+ years relevant experience
NGS library-preparation experience
Hands-on experience with Molecular Biology techniques including but not limited to PCR and DNA purification
Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and excellent written/verbal communication skills
