Delivery Driver - Overnight/Early Morning

We are hiring a dependable, safety-focused Delivery Driver to join our team. This role is essential to our daily café operations, delivering products from our Salem commissary to our Boston and Cambridge locations. The ideal candidate is responsible, punctual, able to work independently, and comfortable with physically demanding tasks.

Position Overview

You will be responsible for completing scheduled deliveries during overnight/early morning hours, maintaining a clean and organized company vehicle, and supporting commissary operations as needed between delivery runs. This is a hands-on role requiring efficiency, time-management, and attention to detail.

Schedule

Start time: 3:00am sharp

Typical end time: 11:00am

Full-time, salary position

Candidates must be reliable and consistently punctual due to operational demand

Key Responsibilities

Load, transport, and deliver products from our Salem commissary to multiple store locations in Boston and Cambridge

Move, lift, and carry heavy items safely and efficiently

Pick up empty containers, equipment, and other items from stores for return to commissary

Maintain the cleanliness of the delivery van (interior & exterior)

Clean and sanitize kitchen containers, bins, and transport items

Follow all safety guidelines, including vehicle operation and lifting procedures

Support commissary operations, kitchen prep, and other business needs during downtime between deliveries

Communicate promptly with management regarding delays, issues, or vehicle concerns

Requirements

Valid driver’s license

Clean driving record (subject to driving record check per company policy)

Ability to lift and move heavy items repeatedly

Ability to work independently, stay on schedule, and manage time efficiently

Strong reliability, professionalism, and attention to detail

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Comfortable working in overnight/early-morning conditions

Must be willing to assist with general tasks as needed

Compensation

$60,000–$68,000 annual salary, depending on experience, availability, and total hours worked
