Landscape Maintenance Foreman

Viking Tree & Landscaping, a full-service landscape maintenance, snow & ice management and landscape development company based in North Reading, MA is looking for an experienced landscape maintenance foreman to join our team. We are a fast growing company and have lots of hours available this spring. This is a full time position throughout the winter. No more layoffs or small paychecks during the offseason. There are great career advancement opportunities at our company, with the potential to grow in to a field supervisor role, managing several crews.

Job Responsibilities:

Lead a team of 2-5 technicians performing the following services at commercial properties throughout Massachusetts.

Spring cleanup & mulching

Weekly lawn mowing and bed maintenance

Shrub pruning with hand clippers and shears

Planting flowers, perennials, shrubs and trees

Fall cleanup

Plowing / Deicing / Snow Removal in the winter months

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience as a landscape maintenance foreman.

Valid Massachusetts driver’s license and clean driving record is mandatory

Pesticide Applicators License is a huge plus

Computer and technology literate (

Experience with LMN (Landscape Management Network) software is highly desirable.

Able to communicate in a professional manner with employees & customers.

Must be available to work 24/7 during snow & ice season.
