Your Responsibilities

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Property Manager. You will join a team responsible for a community of mixed-income family housing in Boston’s historic Charlestown neighborhood. The work hours are 9:00-5:00 Monday-Friday. Under the direction of the Senior Property Manager, you will be responsible for overall day-to-day operations including:

Supervising Section 8 and LIHTC recertifications.

Completing AMR/MOR audits.

Qualifying applicants for new occupancy.

Waitlist management.

Rent collections.

Legal management.

Unit and common area inspections.

Collaborating with the maintenance team to complete apartment turnovers and work orders.

Managing resident relations.

Overall office management and supervision of staff.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and a strong customer service philosophy. Well-developed organizational and time management skills will also be key to success in this role.

2 years of Property Manager level experience or equivalent is required.

Previous experience in Project-Based Section 8 and LIHTC program administration is required.

COS, CPO, C3P, or other designations would be a plus.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required; experience with Yardi is preferred.

Bilingual English/Spanish is required.

A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required.
