Your Responsibilities:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Property Manager to oversee a property with 200 units of affordable housing. You will join a team responsible for a large community of family and senior housing in Boston’s historic South End. The work hours are 9:00-5:00 Monday-Friday. Your duties and responsibilities will include:
Supervision over Section 8 and LIHTC recertifications.
Completing AMR/MOR audits.
Qualifying applicants for new occupancy.
Waitlist management.
Rent collections.
Legal management.
Unit and common area inspections.
Collaboration with the maintenance team to complete apartment turnovers and work orders.
Managing resident relations.
Overall office management and supervision of staff.
Your Qualifications:
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and a strong customer service philosophy. Well-developed organizational and time management skills will also be key to success in this role.
Previous experience in property management, including Project-Based Section 8 and LIHTC program administration, is required.
COS, CPO, C3P, or other designations would be a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required; experience with Yardi is preferred.
Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
