Maintenance Worker
Massachusetts, Boston, 02108 Boston USAEmmaus Inc., a non-profit in Haverhill, MA, is seeking a full-time Maintenance Worker to join our hard-working, solutions-driven team. The successful candidate will work as part of our facilities management team to provide preventative, routine, and emergency multi-site property management services. This will include general upkeep of residential apartment buildings and program offices with basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and unit turnover skills.
Requirements of the Maintenance Worker:
MUST participate in "on-call" rotation to deal with emergencies on evenings and weekends
Basic knowledge of plumbing, minor electrical repairs, general maintenance, the ability to use floor maintenance machines, and willingness to carry out cleaning duties as needed
Ability to perform physical work and to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds as required
Must be able to read and write English
Good interpersonal skills with a courteous and professional manner.
Must have a valid driver's license in good standing and be willing to travel locally
Must be able to pass CORI and driving records check
Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
