APPLICANTS MUST RESIDE IN MASSACHUSETTSJob OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical counseling and support to individuals in various settings, including outpatient and inpatient environments. The Clinician will work closely with clients to assess their needs, develop treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions. This role requires a strong understanding of mental health issues, particularly PTSD care, and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify mental health needs and develop appropriate treatment plans. Provide individual and group counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based practices. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and privacy. Offer telehealth services as needed to accommodate clients' preferences and circumstances. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and support for clients. Engage in motivational interviewing techniques to encourage client participation in their treatment process. Document all clinical interactions accurately in accordance with agency policies. Provide child family counseling as required, addressing the unique needs of children and their families. Skills Proficient in patient assessment techniques and clinical counseling methodologies. Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining confidentiality. Experience in outpatient and inpatient settings, with a focus on mental health care. Familiarity with PTSD care strategies and interventions. Ability to apply motivational interviewing techniques effectively. Experience with telehealth platforms for delivering remote counseling services. Background in social work or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
