Qualifications

- Minimum of 2 years as a short order cook at a restaurant

- High School diploma or GED

- Exceptional communication and customer service skills.

- Ability to multitask.

- Knowledge about food health and safety regulations.

- Experience using a restaurant Point of Sale (POS) system.

- Read, write and speak English fluently

- The ability to stand for extended periods.

- Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Desired

- ServSafe Certification

- Knowledge of Greek Cuisine

- CPR Certification

Job Description:

- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills and fryers

- Check the quality and freshness of ingredients

- Monitor station inventory levels

- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards

- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment and utensils

- Execute opening and closing procedures

- Set up workstations with required ingredients and equipment

- Ensure ingredients and final products are fresh

- Ensure orders are fulfilled correctly
