Position: Scala Developer Location: Boston, MA Duration: 5 Months, Extension Job Summary:

These are predominately new initiatives, will also involve work integrating with existing technologies as well.
100% Individual contributor work.
Looking for developers to come in and join the existing team, picking up tickets and building API's.
Self-starter, doesn't need a lot of oversight.
Client is looking for back-end software developers to assist with development of there Travel products.
Initial work will be focused on API development, with potential expansion to some data engineering work in the future.
Definitely expect some Scala work, with potential future work in Java and/or Node.

Top 3 skills:

Scala experience : 2-3 yrs.
AWS: some experience with Serverless technologies using AWS:
AWS lambda: Lambda is what will stand out with AWS
