Global Billing and Receivables Director

The OpportunityWe, at Flywire, are seeking a Global Billing and Receivables Director to lead and transform our billing and collections operations.  Through organic and inorganic growth, Flywire has a large portfolio of clients to bill monthly, quarterly and annually.  This role will partner with FP&A, Treasury and Credit Risk to monitor agings and cash collections to drive free cash flows.Own global SaaS and transactional billing operations, including subscription lifecycle management (new sales, renewals, upgrades, downgrades, cancellations), usage-based billing, and contract amendments.Partner closely with Sales, Pricing, RevOps, and Legal to resolve billing issues, pricing discrepancies, and contract interpretation questions.Reduce billing errors, credits, and rework through strong upstream controls and process discipline.Partner with IT to drive automation of billing and cash application.Oversee global accounts receivable and collections for a rapidly growing customer base, including enterprise, mid-market, and SMB segments.Act as a key business owner for billing platforms and ERP systems (e.g., Workday, NetSuite, Salesforce).Monitor AR aging, DSO, churn-related exposure, and bad debt reserves; proactively address collection risks.Partner with Customer Success and Sales to manage disputes, renewals at risk, and escalated customer payment issues.Collaborate with credit risk to develop and maintain collections policy and client risk rating.
