Automation Specialist

Operate liquid handlers (e.g. Tecan Fluent, Labcyte Echo, Hamilton Star, SPT Firefly) to enable high throughput activities across functions.Perform basic scripting / method development for NGS library prep and other genomics workflowsCollaborate with biology teams to translate existing low throughput / manual processes to appropriate higher throughput automated solutionsDocument requirements, development activities, and test runs with associated pilot datasets for new automation methodsMeet required deadlines and communicate in a timely and effective manner to collaborators and stakeholdersPerform maintenance and calibration of automation instruments on a routine basis
