Security Analyst/Engineer

Job DescriptionA prestigious private equity firm is looking for an Information Security Analyst/Engineer to join their Security team. The role is onsite 3 days a week in Boston (Monday and Tuesday, then 3rd day can be picked). The PE firm has $89Bn AUM supporting 5 sectors Technology, Business & Financial Services, Healthcare, Industrial, and lastly Retail, Consumer & Leisure. The firm has roughly 600 employees globally and prides itself in the value they bring to their portfolio clients, communities around them and upholding the highest ethical standards.The analyst will be a security generalist and be able to pivot into new software as needed. It is ideal that the candidate has some exposure to email security tools (Proofpoint or Abnormal Security), endpoint protection (Crowdstrike) and SIEM tools (Rapid7). 3+ years of Information Security, Cyber Security or related experience within an enterprise environment

email security software experience (Proofpoint, Abnormal or related)

endpoint protection (Crowdstrike or related)

SIEM tool experience (Rapid7 or related)

understanding around core security concepts such as malware, phishing, fraud etc

IT Infrastructure background

Bachelors Degree in related field - Private Equity background

Experience with Abnormal Security null
