Description We are seeking an Investment Banking Analyst to join our Financial Services team based in Boston, Massachusetts. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity and involves working with the assistant accounting manager to properly record direct investment transactions, maintain databases, and reconcile custody holdings. As an Investment Banking Analyst, you will also be responsible for preparing valuations of public and privately held direct investments and ensuring compliance with document retention policies and procedures related to direct investments. Responsibilities: Work with the assistant accounting manager to properly record direct investment transactions Maintain Equitrak, our direct investment tracking database, and reconcile custody holdings Prepare valuations of public and privately held direct investments Ensure compliance with document retention policies and procedures related to direct investments Obtain investment related information by working with other groups Collaborate with auditors on all aspects of direct investment reporting Analyze performance of direct investments both at the individual fund and “synthetic” portfolio level Prepare and maintain various direct investment track records that are used in fundraising and marketing Utilize skills such as Bloomberg Terminal, CapEx, Capital IQ, CRM, Data Mining Techniques, Buying Processes, Capital Management, Credit, Debt Financing, Due Diligence, and Investment Accounts in daily tasks and responsibilities. Requirements Proficiency in using Bloomberg Terminal for financial analysis and data management Familiarity with Capital IQ platform for financial research and analysis Demonstrated knowledge of CapEx (Capital Expenditure) calculations and implications Experience with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software for client management Understanding of data mining techniques for business intelligence Ability to manage investment buying processes effectively Expertise in capital management strategies and practices Comprehensive understanding of credit analysis and management Experience in debt financing and its implications on business finances Proficiency in conducting due diligence for investment decisions Experience in managing and optimizing investment accounts.
