This position is with the Product Customization product team within the eCommerce BUY product line. The team is organized as a product-based team to deliver quality software per business priorities and milestones.We have an exciting opportunity for a Front-End software engineer who will provide global e-commerce customers with the ability to customize their new Ford/Lincoln ICE/BEV/Hybrid vehicle purchase with additional product/service purchases online.Although this is a fully remote position, this team requires EST hours and we prefer candidates able to work hybrid from our Dearborn, MI office.What you'll do

Work in close collaboration with the Anchor, enterprise architects, product managers, engineering managers, product lead, and integrated systems technical leads to deliver prioritized solutions for the product/program.

Engineer software with strong development background Front end technologies/Adobe Experience Manager.

Develop & deliver a rich digital user experience to the customers, with a solid front-end experience in JavaScript (React/Angular)

Release planning & quality assurance in a fully Agile environment.

Establish a software delivery setup.

You'll have…

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field or a combination of education and equivalent work experience

5+ years of IT Software Engineer development experience preferably with JavaScript, React, Spring Boot, Web Components, Node, Express or similar in an agile environment.

3+ years of experience focused on front end development using JavaScript or similar.

Even better, you may have

Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field

eCommerce experience

Expert experience with JavaScript Front-End and Back-End (React, Web Components, Node, Express, etc.)

Experience with Unit Tests with Jest, React Testing Library, etc.

Experience with CI/CD tools such as Github, Tekton, JFrog, PCF, GCP, etc.

Strong analytical problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent team player and ability to communicate effectively.

Test Driven Development (TDD) and/or Behavior Driven Development (BDD) experience is a plus

Playwright, Cucumber, Cypress, etc. experience is a plus.

Experience managing and contributing to multiple code repositories.
