Events Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a Director of Events to join our marketing team. You will oversee the operation, creation, and management of events.

• Plan, manage and execute logistical details for national, local, and international events/conferences.
• Recommend best practices and recent effective trends in event production and management
• Track and forecast budgets per each event
• Analyze the effectiveness of each event, evaluate KPI, ROI, and other indicators
• Staff events with temps as needed
• Search for, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors
• Manage the events team: events manager, community manager, and events coordinator
• Oversee the development, production, and distribution of event materials.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in a related field
• At least five years of experience in managing events from start to finish
• Knowledge of online events platforms
• Knowledge of CVENT and/or similar event management tools
• Experience and ability to manage multiple events at local, national, and international level
• Strong analytical skills and experience analyzing event ROI and KPI
• Exceptional communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, deadline-driven environment with changing priorities

• MBA
• Experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry
