As a Security Guard, you will serve and safeguard clients in a Residential setting
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security.
Warn violators of premise rules and regulations.
Apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts.
Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes.
Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations.
Patrol Property: Conduct regular patrols of the property, both inside and outside, to deter and detect any unusual activity or safety hazards.
Monitor Access Points: Control access to the premises by checking identification and issuing visitor passes, ensuring unauthorized individuals do not enter the property.
Respond to Incidents: Act as a first responder to any disturbances, emergencies, or incidents, and report them promptly to the appropriate authorities or management.
Surveillance Monitoring: Monitor CCTV and other security systems to identify and respond to any suspicious behavior or incidents in real-time.
Report Writing: Maintain accurate and detailed logs of all activities, incidents, and visitor interactions. Prepare incident reports as necessary.
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to residents and visitors, addressing their concerns and ensuring a positive experience while on the property.
Emergency Preparedness: Participate in emergency procedures and drills to ensure readiness for potential safety threats.
Collaboration: Work closely with law enforcement and other emergency services when required to maintain property safety.
Conflict Resolution: Utilize de-escalation techniques as needed to diffuse tense situations and resolve conflicts peacefully.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Licensing: Valid state security guard license (if applicable).
- Skills:
- Strong observational and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
- Basic knowledge of security operations and emergency response procedures.
- Must have a hand held flashlight and a smart phone
