Provide insight and guidance to assist facilities in achieving/improving inventory accuracy goals. Escalating ongoing/recurring issues with the management team.

Respond to user’s questions/issues related to SAP/CFS inventory and shipping issues. Design and implement new processes as needed to solve issues. Includes but not limited to 1) a focus on short-long term root cause elimination, 2) solutions company/3PL-wide vs. location by location (where applicable) with a One Perdue focus.

Provide business project support for the materials/plant operations functions including design, create testing and implementation.

Provide on-site support as needed for new project design and start-ups. This will include ongoing operational follow ups.

Assist IT with inventory and shipping Help Tickets, partnering with IT for root cause elimination vs. quick fixes which may allow issues to persist/recur.

Manage relationships with the Operation Teams at Perdue and 3rd party facilities.

Review & improve standards for loading/shipping to internal & external customers.

Provide support for current Logistics Systems - PLP, SAP (shipment/deliveries) and any design/testing for enhancements to these systems.

Understand and support all EDI interfaces between 3pls, and a lesser degree to Perdue facilities.

Minimum EducationREQUIRED:

Bachelors Degree in Business, Logistics

PREFERRED:

Knowledge of SAP OTC

Knowledge of CFS

Knowledge of plant processing/shipping operations

Knowledge & understanding of integrated SCM solutions

Knowledge of Logistics & Inventory Management

Experience Requirements

Experience in Microsoft Office Suite including creation of Excel spreadsheets, & MS Power Point presentations

Exposure to and/or familiarity of with Integration methods (EDI, AS2, API, etc.)

Ability to support IT in analysis, design, test & implementation of SCM systems
