Senior Financial Analyst

Sr. Financial Analyst | Rockville, MD Why this company?· Aston Carter is hiring for a great financial analyst role in Rockville with a growing company!Details:· Location: Rockville, MD · 100% On-site· Monday-Friday · 8am-5pm· 6-month contract to hireNecessary Skills· 4+ years of experience in a FP&A role or a similar position. · Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel. · Very strong knowledge of Financial Data. · Strong knowledge of accounting. · Strong communication and presentation skills. · QuickBooks experience is a plus. A day in the role…· Participate in the preparation, evaluation, justification, and maintenance of budgets and forecasts, and budgetary controls. · Analyze financial data and generate reports to communicate financial results to management. · Liaison with and support other departments and cross-functional teams. · Assist in the production of periodic financial reports. · Assist with data integrity. · Collaborate with the team to achieve collective goals and contribute to related initiatives. · Support internal audit functions. · Follow the best practices of finance and accounting standards. · Perform ad hoc projects as assigned. · Assist with accounting functions (AR/AP) and backup roles as needed. · Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned .About Aston Carter: Aston Carter provides world-class corporate talent solutions to thousands of clients across the globe.
