PT to FT farm laborer needed ( horses & farm animals)

Position is available Feb 10, 2025.

A small working farm in Lovettsville needs a part time employee to care for 8-10 horses & a small group of other farm animals. Work days can be as few as 2 days per week up to a max of 4 days a week. Job requires some knowledge of horse care but is mainly physical labor of cleaning stalls, cleaning run- in sheds, moving hay (need to be able to drive a tractor), feeding horses, 2 pot-bellied pigs and a small flock of chickens. You need to be able to lift 50lbs without a struggle.

A maximum of 22 hours a week is available. Start times can be anywhere between 6:30AM- 9A Or an evening shift is an option too. Evenings can start between 4PM-6PM. The work hours can be pretty flexible.

Mon, Tues,Wed are the days off.

Spanish speaking ok.

$19.50/hr is starting pay for person with little horse knowledge. An experienced & dependable person can be paid to $24/hr.

At least 2 prior employer references required.
