Maryland, Frederick, 21701 Frederick USAJob Title: Project ArchitectJob DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Project Architect to join our team. In this role, you will manage multifamily, senior housing, and affordable housing renovation and new construction projects of varying scope. This position offers a stable workflow and the opportunity to work on interesting projects while contributing to a dynamic and supportive team.Responsibilities
Run multifamily, senior housing, and affordable housing renovation and new construction projects.
Report to the Senior Project Manager and Principals to assist with project deliverables.
Manage production and project deliverables for 2-3 projects simultaneously.
Supervise 1-2 staff-level architects.
Oversee architectural design, construction administration, and design development.
Create and review construction drawings and documents.
Ensure projects are completed from start to finish with a focus on quality and efficiency.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
Strong project management skills.
Experience in construction document creation and drafting.
Ability to support projects from start to completion.
Excellent communication skills.
Registered Architect.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.
Knowledge of SketchUp.
Ability to manage 1-2 architects to achieve production goals.
Work EnvironmentOur firm consists of a 15-person team primarily focused on multifamily and housing projects. Projects range in size from 10 to 400 units, depending on the type. Renovations tend to be several hundred units, while new construction ranges between 20-50 units. Project Managers typically handle two jobs at different phases simultaneously. The typical workweek is 40-45 hours, with straight time paid for hours worked in excess of 40.
