Staff Accountant

Essential functions—essential functions, including how an individual is to perform them and the frequency with which the tasks are performed; the tasks must be part of the job function and truly necessary or required to perform the job.Job duties to include but are not limited to;Responsibility for maintaining, reconciling, and analyzing assigned general ledger accounts monthly.Lead the financial reporting and accounting activities of subsidiary companies, ensuring compliance with corporate accounting policies and GAAP requirements.Processing of journal entries and adjustments in relation to accounts included above, which will also require working with the Financial Services Department throughout the fiscal month.Support treasury functions including cash management, account analysis, and related reporting functions.Support internal and external audit processes to ensure compliance with policy and proceduresSupporting internal controls framework and maintaining internal control documentation in relation to the general ledger
