Assistant Scientist- Aquatic Ecotoxicology

Assistant Scientist responsibilities include:Assist/run toxicology studies, including preparing test solutions and daily maintenance of test systems.Feed, water, and examine animals for signs of illness, disease, or injury sustained in the laboratory.Must be comfortable with handling live animals.  Collect and analyze biological data.Performs analysis, first level, and peer review of data for accuracy and completeness.Provide guidance to technicians on the proper conduct of study assignments.May assist in preparation of data and final reports for completed projects or studies.Carries out routine experiments and procedures in accordance with all applicable regulatory (e.g. DEA, EPA, FDA, FIFRA, OECD, etc.) requirements as defined by protocol, method, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
