Collaborates with client and information technology organizations to define functional requirements and functional designs of creative solutions that will support the clients’ strategy and future business goals. Performs independent research to proactively identify and analyze future opportunities and emerging solutions that could be applied in the clients’ operations to drive improvement. Leverage technical expertise as input to multi-year technology roadmaps for clients.CANDIDATE PROFILEEducation and ExperienceRequired:Undergraduate degree (BA/BS).2 years’ experience in information technology, or equivalent education.Writing and executing test scripts.Performing data analysis using Excel, or other tools, to do complex spreadsheet comparisons.Facilitating meetings and collaborate with team to help drive to decisions/resolutions.Preparing user requirement documentation.Troubleshooting technical issues.Training others on the use of systems.Demonstrated ability to work independently and with others.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Good interpersonal and client handling skills.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Strong desire to learn and/or develop new applications and tools.Preferred:SAFe Agile experience.Graduate degree in related field.Scrum Master certification.Oracle HCM experience.Programing / Coding experienceExperience working with Service Providers on and off-shore.Security, Single-Sign On experience.Experience identifying and analyzing alternative solutions to complex business requirements and providing guidance and adviceStrong communication skills, including experience facilitating requirements analysis and functional design working sessionsExcellent analytical skills where problems are very unusual and extremely difficultExperience with business process re-engineeringDemonstrated knowledge of supported disciplineStrong process management and problem resolution skillsBroad technical experience across technical components including infrastructure, network, applications, data, and information securityFamiliarity with Marriott’s existing information architecture, application portfolio, and information management methodologyKnowledge of emerging technologies, including those new to the Marriott environment as well as those that are new to the information systems industryAble to convert business needs into technology requirements and working within IT to manage the execution of projectsDemonstrated ability to assess customer/client needs, creatively approach solutions, and decide and influence appropriate courses of actionThe hourly pay range for this position is $45.00 to $69.47.
