GridIron IT is seeking a
Systems Administrator/Engineer local to the Bethesda, MD.Ability to obtain Public Trust required Responsibilities:- Consult and assist developers to develop Windows/Linux server and application hosting solutions.
- Extensive experience utilizing VMware and its additional services, such as Site Recovery Manager (SRM), vCenter, and vSAN.
- Experience implementing and utilizing hyper-convergence solutions.
- Strong Windows Server management and administration experience (2012 and newer).
- Experience developing and modifying PowerShell/bash scripts to automate manual administration tasks.
- Experience managing network storage and backups leveraging Cohesity.
- Demonstrated experience in developing rigorous testing disciplines to ensure stable computing platforms.
- Demonstrated experience in consulting with end-users to identify and understand needs, as well as developing tailored solutions to address complex technical needs.
- 8+ years of relevant systems administration and engineering experience within enterprise IT environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Applied Sciences or related disciplines.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills, with the ability to collaborate and consult with diverse stakeholder groups.
