General Utility Mechanic

The General Utility Mechanic maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs the physical infrastructure, equipment, and systems at the CMI customer site in Beltsville, MD.Key Job FunctionsPerform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment, including pumps, valves, generators, compressors, and motors.Inspect and troubleshoot malfunctioning utility systems, examining parts for wear and replacing components as needed.Lay, fit, and repair pipes for water, wastewater, steam, or compressed air systems. Perform general structural and HVAC maintenance.Strictly adhere to safety protocols, including confined space entry, traffic control, and Lockout/Tagout procedures.Maintain logs of completed work orders, parts inventory, and maintenance activitiesPerforms other related duties as required
