Carpenter's Helper
Maryland, Baltimore, 21240 Baltimore USACarpenter helper and or laborer wanted for residential home improvement company. Must have the following: Valid drivers license, reliable method of transportation.
Above average pay! 30-40 hours a week. Paid time off after 1 year, paid holidays after 1 year. W2 pay after 90 days of employment.
Job duties are to assist general contractor and carpenters with home improvement projects. Duties vary, but mainly include material unloading/loading, material staging, job site clean up, keeping batteries charged, cutting lumber, holding things, nailing, screwing, sweeping, etc.
Applicants MUST have a good attitude, be positive, and be someone who can work well on a team. You will be treated kindly and never be completely alone when doing larger tasks (for example, you would not be expected to move a cube of 12' 2x10's alone). This company has a really positive work culture and we are looking for a set of hands to help us complete our builds and help reduce our back and forth and footwork.
Job sites are almost always in Baltimore and Howard County. We construct a lot of decks and screened in porches. We also do various interior remodels and renovations.
You should enjoy the jobsite and be someone who likes getting their hands dirty. Experience not needed but preferred.
Must be someone who generally enjoys carpentry and building things. You should be someone who likes tools and working with their hands. We are looking for someone who can offer ideas and input about projects. You will be respected and should be respectful. You should also have a sense of humor.
