Concrete Finisher/Concrete Raising Technician

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a concrete raising technician you will utilize special equipment to raise sunken concrete using expanding foam.

A normal day involves driving the company vehicle to the job, drilling 3/8" injections holes into the slab, pumping the polyurethane foam through the holes and under the concrete raising back to original elevation, and finally patching the holes when the job is completed. Typical jobs range from small residential work to large commercial projects. Some examples of projects we have worked on are : Camden Yards Stadium, The Pentagon, and various CHICK-FIL-A restaurants.

Not all concrete is able to be raised for different reasons. In these cases we can grind the concrete to eliminate the trip hazard or sometimes remove and replace small sections of the concrete.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Concrete Experience - Forming, Placing, and Finishing

Valid drivers license with good driving record.

Must be a dependable, responsible team player with a positive attitude and ambition to grow with a 27 year old company.

Able to work extended hours as needed.

In good physical condition; Capable of lifting 100 Lbs, walking and climbing stairs on construction sites.
