Our Application Technicians provide service to residential or commercial client properties in a timely, safe manner, using hand and powered equipment to apply products to treat our customers lawns. Every day on the job will bring exciting new challenges as you use your specialized skills to perform soil analysis, control insects, diseases, and unsightly weeds. Application Technicians educate homeowners on proper lawn maintenance, advise on lawn, and landscape problems, and determine appropriate solutions for their unique needs. They use expert knowledge to sell/upsell additional services to existing and new customers that result in growth of our clientele. Our Technicians display strong communication skills when providing customers with product / service information and when resolving customer concerns onsite.

Requirements

Able to work independently

Able to bring positive approach & attitude to daily responsibilities

Valid Driver's License

Good oral and written communication skills

Ability to work overtime & some Saturdays

Motor Vehicle Report Review

Responsibilities

Provide herbicide and pesticide service to residential and commercial properties to keep lawn healthy and attractive including fertilizing lawns, identifying, and controlling weeds, pest, and diseases that may affect the health and appearance of the lawn. Apply services by following safety guidelines and regulations

Perform service calls to diagnose and correct customer properties

Interact with customers and address their concerns and request in a friendly manner. Provide guidance of lawn care practices, offer recommendations, and answer questions related to maintaining a healthy lawn. Provide and properly document service and product information

Maintain accurate records or work performed and include task completed, materials used, and time spent on each project. Report cancel and skip notices of customer properties. Prepare reports as required by supervisors or management

Safely drive a company vehicle to and from customer locations, maintain vehicle and schedule all maintenance work in a timely manner

Responsible use of company provided equipment. Clean and maintain equipment and tools regularly. Perform routine inspections and report any equipment issues or requirements for replacement

Ability to work independently with a positive approach and attitude to daily responsibilities

Must have good oral and written communication skills

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions such as heat, cold, and rain

Ability to work overtime & some Saturdays

Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while operating equipment, handling chemicals, or performing physical tasks. Follow local regulations regarding waste disposal, chemical application, and environmental protection
