C.H. Robinson is hiring a Customs Drawback Analyst. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the duty drawback services for all branches within the C.H. Robinson network. As a Customs Drawback Analyst you will analyze, review, prepare and complete drawback claims on behalf of clients as well as utilize analytics to determine acceptability requirements for U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). As a subject matter expert, you will establish standard operating procedures, conduct training, investigate, and support brokerage employees throughout the drawback process. Does this sound like you? Provide full support to client’s drawback program by collecting, reviewing, analyzing and preparing necessary data to submit drawback claims to Customs and Border Protection (CBP) on behalf of client

Audit claims prior to submission to CBP

Ensure any errors received from CBP after claim submission have been identified and then resolved

Prepare applicable forms to submit drawback privilege applications and manufacturing rulings to CBP

Manage and maintain import, export and inventory databases for clients

Manage client specific internal operating procedures

Support customer account base, ensuring prompt response to customer inquiries and follow through on issues until resolution to customer satisfaction

Manage and maintain multiple concurrent customer drawback programs

Onboard new drawback customers

Create, document, and maintain project related plans and process flows

Submit applications for drawback single entry bonds when required

Remain current on functional policies, requirements, changes, and trends

Complete reporting needs within ACE

Support client with responses to CBP including Full Desk Reviews

Guide clients to ensure drawback program compliance

Track drawback claims, recovered money and liquidations

Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal drawback processes

Assist in creating training materials and provide training to internal teams on drawback processes

Offer support and mentorship to colleagues, helping them grasp the intricacies of drawback procedures and industry standards

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Minimum 3 years of experience filing drawback under TFTEA requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

Extensive knowledge of drawback regulations and drawback CATAIR

Experience executing claims within DutyCalc

Experience working with large datasets with strong analytical skills

High level of attention to detail

Strong communication, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills

Effective communicator and data/reporting/business liaison through multiple mediums

Positive, collaborative working style

Proven critical-thinking and problem-solving skills to adapt to ever-changing tasks and customer needs

Advanced proficiency with MS Excel, and strong working proficiency with the broader MS Office Suite of programs

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

Licensed Customs Broker

Compensation Range$59,300.00 - $123,200.00The base pay range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base pay for the position across all U.S. locations.
