Cannabis Edible Packaging

Hello! We are a kickass 21+ Cannabis Company out of Portland, Maine. We specialize in making quality edibles from scratch with no artificial colors or flavorings.

This position will include but it is not limited to the following:

Wrapping and bagging various edible products while keeping track of proper labeling requirements for each product.

Can work independently or in a group while staying organized and efficient.

The ability to change tasks as orders come in.

Updating the product inventory daily via Google Sheets and Metrc.

Continuously updating management on packaging inventory.

Must be a team player, we are a fast growing company and help each other out as needed.

Many tasks are repetitive and require constant attention.

We use a lot of small hand movements so the physical ability to manipulate products and packaging is a must.

Daily and weekly cleaning tasks.

Benefits:

Flexible Schedule- Our hours of operation are Monday-Friday between 8am and 5pm

Accrued PTO after 90 days of employment, 1 hour per every 40 hours worked.

Discount on all products.

Weekends are not required, neither are major holidays or snow days. We can also work within your children's school schedule if needed.

Requirements:

21+

Must be able to pass State and Federal Background Checks

Must be okay with constantly smelling like Cannabis and working in a facility with it present.

Will need to be ServSafe Certified - We will cover this cost one time.

Must be able to lift 50 pounds and do basic math

Training and Starting Wage:

Our training wage is $16 an hour and our training program teaches you all of the non-thc tasks while we wait for your background checks to be completed. Once this happens we evaluate and increase your pay based on performance. In Maine Cannabis it can take 3-5 weeks to get the required documentation to start being allowed to touch cannabis in a working environment, this is the time we use for training.
