Our small but growing restaurant group is passionate about bringing authentic, vibrant Latin American flavors to our guests. We pride ourselves on using fresh ingredients, traditional techniques, and a collaborative team environment to deliver exceptional dining experiences. We are looking for a dedicated Kitchen Professional with a deep appreciation for Latin cuisine to join our kitchen.

You will be a vital part of our kitchen team, responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of traditional and signature Latin dishes to our established standards. You will work a specific station on the line, ensuring speed, consistency, and the highest quality in every dish served. This role requires precision, a passion for authentic flavors, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

Food Preparation & Cooking: Prepare and cook menu items for a specific station (e.g., plancha/grill, sauté, prep) according to the restaurant's standardized recipes and quality specifications.

Authenticity & Quality Control: Ensure all dishes maintain the authentic flavor profiles of our Latin cuisine and meet high standards for taste, quality, portion size, and presentation.

Mise en Place: Set up and stock the assigned station with all necessary food items and supplies before service begins, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.

Sanitation & Safety: Adhere to all applicable sanitary, health, and personal hygiene standards, maintaining a clean and organized workstation throughout the shift.

Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels at the station, properly handle and store all products.

Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with other kitchen staff and servers to coordinate orders and ensure timely delivery of meals to guests.

Adaptability: Be prepared to assist with general kitchen prep assignments during off-peak periods or as directed by the Executive Chef.

Experience: 1-3 years of experience as a Line Cook in a restaurant, with specific experience or a strong passion for Latin American cuisine preferred.

Knowledge: Solid understanding of various cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and authentic Latin ingredients and spices.

Physical Stamina: Ability to stand or walk for an 8-hour shift and lift at least 30-50 pounds.

Communication: A positive attitude and strong communication skills to work cooperatively within a small team environment.

Pay: Negotiable based on experience. Benefits and PTO available.
