Lead Bartender - Norumbega Inn

The Norumbega Inn seeks a bartender for its restaurant service and special events beginning late May / June 2024.

Restaurant Service is to be at least 4 nights a week (Saturday - Tuesday, 3-8:30pm), requiring approx. 30 hours/week. We also have weddings scheduled in July, Aug, and Sept. for which a bartender will be needed, and for which tips are generous.

Requirements: bartending experience, a genuine interest in cocktails and mixology, hardworking, friendly, team-player, and detail-oriented. Candidate will be required to keep the bar clean and well-stocked. Candidate will be responsible for monitoring bar inventory and communicating the need for beverage and supply orders to be placed. Candidate should engage happily with the guests and deliver a memorable customer service experience. Candidate will use measured pours and make cocktails with care and precision. Candidate thrives in a fast paced environment that requires multi-tasking. This is a part-timejob, with the potential for it to become a year-round position for the right candidate. We offer very generous hourly pay, shared tips, shift meals, and a respectful, fun work environment.

Candidate must be at least 21 years old, and TIPS Certification is Preferred.

There is a possibility for Housing to be provided at $125/week. Norumbega rents a shared 3BR/1BA staff house in Lincolnville Beach that would be shared with 3 other team members.
