WHAT’S THE JOB?Based in a world‑class Dexterra camp facility, the Baker’s Assistant supports the bakery operation by assisting with the preparation and baking of fresh goods to the highest Dexterra standards.Reporting to the Baker,this role focuses on hands‑on production, quality control, and sanitation, ensuring a consistent supply of high‑quality baked goods to support daily meal serviceYOUR WORK WILL INCLUDEAssisting the Baker with preparing and baking goods from scratchFollowing approved recipes, menus, and product directions when preparing baked goodsRestocking pastry shelves and maintaining a sufficient, fresh, and well‑presented supply of baked goodsEnsuring the quality of baked goods and desserts meets Dexterra standardsSupporting consistent food quality in accordance with client requirements, including special dietary considerationsComplying with all food hygiene and Food Safety regulationsCleaning, washing, and sanitizing bakery equipment, tools, and overall work areasAssisting with proper storage, labelling, and rotation of baked productsSupporting the Baker and culinary team with additional duties as required
