Accounts Payable Clerk
Louisiana, Shreveport, 71101 Shreveport USADescription We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk for our client in the Stone/Glass/Concrete Manufacturing industry located in Shreveport, Louisiana. This role involves processing, matching and batching code, resolving A/P issues, and updating customer records. This job offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Handle the administrative and clerical needs of the AP/Finance Department to ensure smooth operations Ensure daily processes and controls are executed accurately and in a timely manner, maintaining compliance with Company policies Provide excellent customer service to internal business partners, addressing their needs and inquiries Assist with internal and external audits as required, providing necessary documentation and information Sort, log, photocopy, and file invoices, checks, and other documents to keep records updated Verify, log and mail checks, including expediting special handling for urgent cases Open, sort and distribute daily department mail to appropriate personnel Perform special projects as assigned by the management Process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks Match and batch code to ensure accuracy in financial documentsRequirements Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP) Experience with Check Runs and Coding Invoices Strong Data Entry skills Familiarity with Invoice Processing Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Experience working with Oracle Proficiency in QuickBooks Experience with SAP Background in the Stone/Glass/Concrete Manufacturing industry Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication and organizational skills Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively High level of professionalism and adherence to company confidentialityRobert Half puts you in the best position to succeed by advocating on your behalf and promoting you to employers.
