Experienced Window Glazer Needed

We are looking for an experienced crew with window glazers and caulking for large government building project to begin soon.

Caulking:

Remove existing caulking and backer rod from all joints

remove all loose materials and freign matter that will impair the adhesion of caulking.

All joints shall be cleaned.

Install new backer rod in removed caulk locations

Wet-glazing windows:

Install new caulking to all windows

The glazing shall provide for minimum face clearances, edge clearances, and nominal bite

Face clearance shall properly cushion the glass, thermally and mechanically isolate the glass framing members and prevent glass to metal contact

Nominal bite on the glass shall provide adequate glass retention without excessive glass coverage.

Clean Windows:

Clean all exterior windows

Wash scrub windows with commercial window/glass cleaning detergent

Remove all dirt, calcium, hard water spots, and buildup from glass panels and mullions

Squeegee dry all glass panels

Remove excess water from mullions after cleaning

Must show up on time and work in a safe and timely manner.
