Job Summary:

Cuban Creations Cigar Bar is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender at Cuban Creations, you will be responsible for crafting a variety of classic and signature cocktails, providing a welcoming atmosphere for our guests, and ensuring that all patrons have a memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Mixing Drinks: Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, beer, and wine, according to the bar’s recipes and standards.

- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, take drink orders, and ensure that guests are satisfied with their experience.

- Knowledge of Products: Maintain a deep knowledge of cigars, spirits, and cocktail ingredients, offering recommendations to guests when needed.

- Bar Maintenance: Keep the bar area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

- Cash Handling: Accurately manage cash, credit card transactions, and bar tabs.

- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including servers and kitchen staff, to ensure smooth service.

- Timeliness: Arrive on time for shifts and be prepared to work during peak hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

- Inventory Management: Assist with the monitoring and replenishing of bar inventory. Report any shortages or discrepancies to management.

- Compliance: Adhere to all local and state alcohol laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of bartending experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant.

- Skills: Strong communication skills, a team-oriented attitude, and the ability to multitask under pressure.

- Knowledge: Familiarity with Cuban culture, cigars, and classic cocktail recipes is a plus.

- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform basic manual tasks.
