Feed Mill Production Operator

Use automated equipment to manufacture (mix, grind, weigh & pellet) various types of feed: then determine what bin the feed will be placed in.

Keep accurate production records; batch logs, pellet mill activity logs, micro-ingredient inventory, down time logs, etc.

Take feed samples to insure good quality.

Routine maintenance of pelleting and cooling equipment.

Downloading of plant computer system as required.

Perform general housekeeping of production area to meet OSHA standards and maintain a minimum dust level, as well as a clean working environment.

Maintaining adequate levels of product in major and micro bins.

Communicate with Dispatcher to meet delivery needs.
