This position is an Unclassified (WAE) part-time position. The Program Manager will be responsible for conducting outreach activities to increase awareness of the Hurricane Ida Recovery Fund Program and encouraging participation of entities that meet eligibility requirements. Strategies may include contact by telephone, email, webinars, social media, or personal visits. A criminal background check and drug screen will be required of the selected candidate. Strategies may include contact by telephone, email, webinars, social media, or personal visits.10%: Assist political subdivisions and legislators through a call center housed within the Louisiana Department of Treasury dedicated to the Hurricane Ida Recovery Fund Program.15%: Responsible for administering all applicable laws and Hurricane Ida Recovery Fund policies regarding grants issued to Louisiana political subdivisions set forth in Act 167 of the 2022 Regular Session of the Legislature.10%: Responsible for preparing information and reports for legislators and other stakeholders.25%: Responsible for working with other state agencies and program contractors to secure data for determining eligibility in accordance with eligibility requirements.25%: Assist in the execution of certain aspects of financial management of the program, including fund reconciliation and management of payments.Must possess a working knowledge of the program and all eligibility requirements.
