Human Resources (HR) Assistant
Kentucky, Nicholasville, 40340 Nicholasville USADescription We are looking to bring on board a proficient Human Resources (HR) Assistant/Admin for our operations in NICHOLASVILLE, Kentucky. In this role, you will be expected to assist in a range of HR functions, including onboarding, handling employee inquiries, and managing various HR-related administrative tasks. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity. Apply today to be considered! Responsibilities: Assisting in the onboarding process and facilitating a smooth transition for new hires. Providing support during open enrollment periods and keeping track of the process through spreadsheets. Managing badge creation and termination for entry access, ensuring security protocols are adhered to. Assisting with the preparation and handling of FMLA paperwork. Providing responses to inquiries related to short-term disability insurance. Supporting leadership in disciplinary and termination conversations, ensuring HR policy compliance. Assisting in conducting employee investigations and managing necessary follow-up actions. Utilizing Paylocity for various HR tasks, maintaining accuracy and efficiency. Engaging in recruitment activities, including sourcing and interviewing potential candidates. Handling cold calls professionally and effectively. Implementing change management strategies and performance management processes. Assisting in benefits coordination and compensation management. Ensuring adherence to HR policies and procedures during employee relations activities.Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role or HR-related field Proficient in benefits coordination and change management Experience with compensation and benefits planning and execution Excellent customer service skills Demonstrated experience in managing employee relations Knowledge of HR compliance and HR policies Experience with insurance (disability) management Proficient in conducting interviews and new employee orientations Experience in onboarding new employees Skilled in performance management and implementing policies & procedures Proven experience in recruiting and recruitment sourcing Experience in handling terminations Excellent time management skills Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
