If you have a passion for learning, can navigate your way around a computer, and handle customer calls and requests, you could be the ideal candidate for the Roll-Off Dispatcher position we are looking to fill! We need someone who is dependable, driven, and a great team player to thrive in our fast-paced environment. In this role, you will be coordinating and managing routes for our Roll-Off Drivers, answering calls and scheduling runs for both residential and commercial customers. While we prefer candidates with at least 2 years of experience in the construction, waste management, transportation, or logistics industries, we are open to training the right individual.

You’ll be a great fit if:

You are professional and courteous when communicating with Roll-Off Drivers and customers.

You can take direction and manage the schedule of Roll-Off Drivers, trucks, and containers, and rearrange routes as needed throughout the day ensuring maximum productivity.

You can read and understand maps to coordinate routes in shortest distance, considering the availability of trucks, containers, and job locations.

You can monitor the progress of Roll-Off Drivers by promptly addressing any delays or issues that may arise.

You can communicate road obstructions, weather concerns or closings of disposal and/or recycling facilities with Roll-Off Drivers.

You can verify all dump tickets have been received, driver tickets are completed and checked off daily.

You can work overtime if needed.

To be considered you’ll need:

A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

A high school diploma or GED.

Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, specifically Outlook and Excel.

Familiarity with transportation management software is a plus.

Understanding of applicable transportation regulations and laws is a plus.
